DC STABILIZER WITH DIGITAL CONTROL

Abstract:
Power for electronic circuits with good performance is made through stabilized DC voltage. This paper presents a numerically-controlled voltage source with short circuit protection. Command output voltage control is obtained from a computer system via an interface circuit, containing a digital to analog converter and an electrical isolation circuit. The digital signal obtained from the parallel port is converted into a stream of digital to analog convertor, which is transformed into a control voltage with a current-voltage converter made with an operational amplifier. To protect the computer from voltage or current shock was achieved the electrical isolation circuit, the circuit structure containing two optocouplers to obtain an output voltage as linear.
