ISPITIVANJE ANTIMIKROBNE AKTIVNOSTI ETERIČNIH ULJA Rosmarinus Officinalis i Alium sativum L Kalaba Vesna1 Dragana Kalaba 2, Milka Stijepić 3 1JUVeterinarski institut RS“Dr Vaso Butozan“Banja Luka 2Medicinski fakultet-Farmaceutski odsjek, Univerziteta Banja Luka 2Visoka medicinska škola, Prijedor SAŽETAK Poznato je da eterična ulja biljaka posjeduju antimikrobnu aktivnost prema širokom spektru bakterija. Zbog toga je svrha ovog rada bila odrediti antimikrobna svojstva eteričnih ulja i to: ulja ruzmarina (Rosmarinus Officinalis) i ulja bijelog luka (Alium sativum L). Preliminarnim istraživanjima, disk-difuzijskom metodom, dokazana su antimikrobna svojstva eteričnog ulja ruzmarina, na rasta referentnih kultura mikroorganizama Escherichia coli WDCM 00090, Listeria monocytogenes WDCM 00020, Salmonella Typhi WDCM 00030, Salmonella enterica WDCM 00030, Staphylococcus epidermidis WDCM, Pseudomonas aeruginosa WDCM 00024, Salmonella “9” izolata iz mesa živine, Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Pseudomonas spp i Providencia spp. dobijeni iz kliničkog materijala i eteričnog ulja bijelog luka na rast Escherichia coli WDCM 00090, Salmonella enterica WDCM 00030, Pseudomonas aeruginosa WDCM 00024, Salmonella spp, Pseudomonas spp. Takode je određen tip djelovanja ispitivanih ulja. That is why the subject of this study was to test antimicrobial activity of Rosmarinus officinalis and Alium sativum essential oils. Disk diffusion method was used to test antimicrobial activity essential oils on the growth of reference strains of Escherichia coli WDCM 00090, Listeria monocytogenes WDCM 00020, Salmonella Typhi WDCM 00030, Salmonella enterica WDCM 00030, Staphylococcus epidermidis WDCM, Pseudomonas aeruginosa WDCM 00024, Salmonella “9” isolates from poultry meat Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Pseudomonas spp i Providencia spp obtained from clinical material and essential oil of garlic on growth Escherichia coli WDCM 00090, Salmonella enterica WDCM 00030, Pseudomonas aeruginosa WDCM 00024, Salmonella spp, Pseudomonas spp. It is also determined a specific type of action of the tested oils. Keywords: Rosmarinus officinalis; Alium sativum L; antimicrobial activity
