Abstract:
Taking into account the efforts of the legislative and executive authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina led by the competent ministries in this work we have tried to look at the current situation and make recommendations for appropriate and environmentally justified and disposal of solid waste by creating a modern sanitary landfill, as well as technical – technological solution for disposal of existing local landfills. Also present possibility of generating renewable energy from applying adequate procedures in repair depots, primarily landfill gas exploitation and transformation of one form of energy into another.
