Abstract:
The research presented in this paper is the integration of LEAN principles to reduce waste and Green principles to assess environmental impacts. LEAN has the ability to identify waste in processes but does not quantify the environmental impact of the process. Also, the paper aims to highlight the importance of a holistic approach to the exploration of the impact on the environment, society and economy, and establishment of social responsibility and sustainable development.
