Abstract:
In this paper different types of building envelope are investigated. Position of thermal insulation layer is changed for each simulation. In one simulation it is in interior side of the exterior wall, in second simulation thermal insulation layer is placed between two layers of brick, and in third simulation it is placed on the exterior side of the exterior wall. Simulation is done for whole year and model is simulated in EnergyPlus. Model presented in this paper is zero-net energy building.
