Mechanical Engineering studies in Montenegro started during the academic year of 1970/71. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Montenegro is the only faculty in Montenegro covering the field of Mechanical Engineering. Within the Faculty we have three accredited study programmes: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ROAD TRAFFIC and MECHATRONICS. Study programmeMechanical Engineering and Traffic follow the system 3+1+1+3, and study programme Mechatronics 3+2. Study programme Mechanical Engineering, since the academic 2008/2009, apart from Podgorica, have been organised in Pljevlja where we opened our local department. During the four decades of our existence, the Faculty have had cooperation with well-known university institutions in the world. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, through its centres and laboratories, carries out significant scientific and research activities.
